We respect intellectual property rights and take copyright infringement seriously. This page outlines our compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

1. Our Commitment
QuickVideoDownloader is committed to respecting and protecting the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and applicable law.
We take copyright infringement seriously and will act swiftly upon receiving a valid takedown notice. If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please follow the process described below.
2. How Our Service Works
QuickVideoDownloader does not host, store, upload, cache, or re-distribute any video content whatsoever. Our Service is a technical tool that:
- Accepts a publicly accessible video URL provided by the user
- Communicates with the original platform’s public API or publicly accessible endpoints to retrieve a direct media URL
- Returns that temporary, publicly accessible media URL to the user’s browser
The video content itself resides entirely on the original platform’s servers (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo). We serve as a technical intermediary only, and at no point does any video file pass through or reside on our servers.
As a result, the most effective and direct way to remove infringing content from public accessibility is to contact the original hosting platform directly. However, we understand that you may also wish to notify us, and we take all valid notices seriously.
3. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and you believe that content accessible via our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our Designated Agent at admin@quickvideodownloader.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice.”
Your notification must include all of the following elements to be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you about the notice.
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- The specific URL on our website (quickvideodownloader.com) that you allege is facilitating access to the infringing content. General descriptions are not sufficient.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Incomplete notices will not be processed. We may request additional information if your notice does not include all required elements.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content associated with your submission was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. To do so, please send a written communication to our Designated Agent at admin@quickvideodownloader.com that includes:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the content that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if your address is outside the United States, the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and inform them that access may be restored after 10 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.
5. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and in our sole discretion, to disable or terminate the access of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We define a repeat infringer as any user who has been the subject of more than one valid DMCA takedown notice.
We reserve the right to block IP addresses associated with repeat infringement at any time and without prior notice.
6. Designated Agent
Our Designated DMCA Agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement is:
- Name: QuickVideoDownloader Legal Team
- Email: admin@quickvideodownloader.com
- Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Notice
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
7. Fair Use Notice
Some content accessible through our Service may be used under the doctrine of fair use (17 U.S.C. § 107). Fair use is a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work. Purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, education, or parody may constitute fair use. Whether a particular use qualifies as fair use is a complex legal determination made on a case-by-case basis.
We neither encourage nor condone the use of our Service to infringe upon copyrights and expect users to make their own informed, lawful decisions about the content they download.
